Prop Firm Copier EA MT4 & MT5© Settings & Inputs Guide
Prop Firm Copier EA MT4 & MT5© Settings & Inputs Guide
This guide explains the Local Trade Copier EA MT4/5© settings used to configure transmitter and receiver accounts, lot sizing, risk management, trade filtering, symbol mapping, account protection and trade management for prop firm and multi-account setups.
Account Mode: Selects how the EA operates on this account:
Transmitter: Sends its trading activity to one or more Receiver accounts.
Receiver: Copies trades from one or more Transmitter accounts.
Self Copier: Copies or multiplies trades opened manually or by other EAs within the same trading account.
Transmitter Account Number: Enter the account number of the Transmitter you want this Receiver to follow. For multiple Transmitters, separate the account numbers with commas, for example: 123456,654321. Applies to Receiver mode only.
Transmitter Comment: Defines the trade comment sent by the Transmitter to copied Receiver trades. Leave empty for no comment, enter custom text, or use:
# = original trade comment
@ = original trade ticket
% = original trade Magic Number
& = Transmitter account number
These can be combined, for example: #,@,%,&. Configure this setting on the Transmitter only.
Receiver Comment: Defines the comment applied to copied trades by the Receiver. Leave empty to use the comment received from Transmitter Comment. If filled in, this setting overrides the Transmitter comment. Configure on the Receiver only.
Magic Number: The Magic Number assigned by Local Trade Copier EA MT4/5© to the trades it opens for identification and management. Do not use 0.
Magic Numbers to Copy: Copies only Transmitter trades with the specified Magic Numbers. Separate values with commas.
Example: 3245,0 copies Magic Number 3245 and manual trades with Magic Number 0.
Use parentheses for partial matching: (14) matches Magic Numbers containing 14, such as 214 or 3146.
Use a range such as 100-200 to copy Magic Numbers from 100 through 200.
Maximum Number of Copied Magic Numbers: Limits how many different Transmitter Magic Numbers can be copied simultaneously to the Receiver.
Maximum Receiver Account Magic Numbers: Limits the total number of different Magic Numbers that can be present simultaneously on the Receiver account, including trades from other EAs or manual trading.
Magic Numbers Not to Copy: Excludes Transmitter trades with the specified Magic Numbers. Uses the same comma-separated, partial-match and range formats as Magic Numbers to Copy.
Example: 3245,(14),100-200,0 excludes Magic Number 3245, Magic Numbers containing 14, Magic Numbers from 100 to 200, and manual trades.
Symbols to Copy: Copies only the specified Receiver symbols. Separate symbols with commas.
Example: EURUSD,GBPUSD
Use the exact Receiver symbol names, including suffixes where applicable, for example: EURUSD.r,GBPUSD.r.
Maximum Number of Copied Symbols: Limits how many different symbols can be copied simultaneously to the Receiver.
Maximum Receiver Account Symbols: Limits the total number of different symbols that can be present simultaneously on the Receiver account, including trades opened manually or by other EAs.
Symbols Not to Copy: Excludes the specified Receiver symbols from copying. Separate symbols with commas and use the exact Receiver symbol names, including suffixes where applicable.
Example: EURUSD.r,GBPUSD.r
Comments to Copy: Copies only Transmitter trades whose original comments match the specified values. Separate comments with commas.
Example: Expert 1,Expert 2
Use parentheses for partial matching. For example, (Expert) matches comments such as Expert 12, Expert 20 and Expert 35.
Comments Not to Copy: Excludes Transmitter trades whose original comments match the specified values. Uses the same comma-separated and partial-match formats as Comments to Copy.
Example: Master,(Expert) excludes trades with the exact comment Master and any comment containing Expert.
Copy on Monday-Sunday: Defines the copying hours for each day. The default 00:00:00-23:59:59 allows copying throughout the entire day.
You can exclude periods by entering multiple time ranges. For example:
00:00:00-14:30:00,16:30:00-23:59:59
copies until 14:30, pauses between 14:30 and 16:30, and resumes from 16:30 until midnight.
Leave a day's setting empty to disable copying for that entire day.
If Copy Current Trades=false, Transmitter trades opened outside the allowed copying hours will not be copied when copying resumes.
Transmitter Server Offset Hours: Compensates for differences between the Transmitter and Receiver brokers' Market Watch server times when using Copy Current Trades, Copy New Trades, Copying Expiration in Seconds, or Copying Delay in Seconds.
Enter the difference on the Receiver. If the Transmitter time is 11:30 and the Receiver time is 14:30, enter -3. If the Transmitter time is 14:30 and the Receiver time is 11:30, enter +3.
Copy Long Trades: Enables/disables copying of Transmitter Buy trades.
Copy Short Trades: Enables/disables copying of Transmitter Sell trades.
Copy Current Trades: Enables/disables copying of trades and orders already open on the Transmitter. Set to false during initial setup if you do not want existing Transmitter trades/orders copied.
If the brokers use different server times, configure Transmitter Server Offset Hours accordingly.
Copy New Trades: Enables/disables copying of new Transmitter trades. If set to false and the brokers use different server times, configure Transmitter Server Offset Hours accordingly.
Copy Take Profit: Enables/disables copying of the Transmitter trade's Take Profit level.
Take Profit Multiplier: Multiplies the copied Take Profit distance. The default 1 preserves the original TP distance.
Example: 1.5 changes a 100-point Transmitter TP to 150 points on the Receiver.
Add/Subtract Points in TP Level: Adds or subtracts points from the copied Take Profit distance. Requires Copy Take Profit=true and Take Profit Multiplier=1.
Example: 20 changes a 100-point TP to 120 points; -30 changes it to 70 points.
Copy Stop Loss: Enables/disables copying of the Transmitter trade's Stop Loss level.
Stop Loss Multiplier: Multiplies the copied Stop Loss distance. The default 1 preserves the original SL distance.
Example: 2 changes a 200-point Transmitter SL to 400 points on the Receiver.
Add/Subtract Points in SL Level: Adds or subtracts points from the copied Stop Loss distance. Requires Copy Stop Loss=true and Stop Loss Multiplier=1.
Example: 20 changes a 100-point SL to 120 points; -30 changes it to 70 points.
Do Not Copy Trades/Orders Without SL: Enables/disables copying of Transmitter trades and pending orders that do not have a Stop Loss.
Allow TP/SL Manual Change: Allows manual modification of TP/SL levels on Receiver copied trades and pending orders. The EA continues synchronizing TP/SL changes from the Transmitter until you manually modify the Receiver trade's TP or SL. After a manual modification, the EA stops updating those TP/SL levels according to the original Transmitter trade.
Copy Market Trades: Enables/disables copying of market trades.
Copy Pending Orders: Enables/disables direct copying of pending orders. If false, a Transmitter pending order is not copied while pending; it is copied when triggered and opened as a market trade.
Maximum Spread in Points: Sets the maximum Receiver spread allowed for copying.
Enter one value for all symbols or individual limits by symbol.
Example:
10,XAUUSD30,BTCUSD1500
allows a maximum spread of 10 points for other symbols, 30 points for XAUUSD and 1500 points for BTCUSD.
Maximum Slippage in Points: Sets the maximum allowed slippage when copying a trade on the Receiver.
Maximum Copying Difference in Points: Sets the maximum allowed price difference between the Transmitter and Receiver when copying a trade.
Use Copying Expiration in Seconds: Enables/disables the Copying Expiration in Seconds setting.
Copying Expiration in Seconds: Sets how long the Receiver may continue trying to copy a Transmitter trade.
Example: With 60, if the trade cannot be copied within 60 seconds—for example because of unavailable liquidity or closed instrument trading hours—it will no longer be copied.
Configure Transmitter Server Offset Hours if the brokers use different server times.
Copying Delay in Seconds: Delays copying by the specified number of seconds. Enter one value, such as 5, or a range such as 5,20 for a random delay between 5 and 20 seconds.
Configure Transmitter Server Offset Hours if the brokers use different server times.
Retry Attempts in Seconds: Sets the interval between Receiver attempts to copy a trade after a failed attempt, for example because the market is closed or there are insufficient funds. The default is 60 seconds to avoid excessive repeated log entries.
Better Price: Enables/disables waiting for the configured price condition in Better Price Difference in Points before copying a Transmitter trade.
Important: Enabling Better Price can result in a Transmitter trade not being copied at all if the required price condition is never reached.
Better Price Difference in Points: Defines the required copying price condition:
0 copies a Buy at the same or lower price and a Sell at the same or higher price.
50 copies a Buy 50 points lower or a Sell 50 points higher.
-50 copies after the Transmitter trade has moved 50 points into profit: a Buy 50 points higher or a Sell 50 points lower.
Different values can be assigned by symbol, for example:
10,GBPUSD-20,USDJPY30
Include Receiver suffixes where applicable:
10,GBPUSD.r-20,USDJPY.r30
Reverse Copying: Reverses copied trade direction. A Transmitter Buy is copied as a Receiver Sell, and a Transmitter Sell as a Receiver Buy.
Keep Original TP/SL Distances: Controls whether copied TP/SL levels preserve their original price levels or their original distances from the actual Receiver opening price.
When false, normal copying uses the original Transmitter TP/SL levels. In Reverse Copying, TP and SL are reversed: for example, a Transmitter Buy with a 100-point TP and 200-point SL is copied with a 100-point SL and 200-point TP.
When true, TP/SL levels are adjusted according to the difference between the Transmitter and Receiver opening prices.
Example: A Transmitter Buy opens at 1.08700 with TP 1.08900 and SL 1.08500. If the Receiver opens at 1.08720, its TP becomes 1.08920 and SL becomes 1.08520.
This applies to both normal and reverse copying.
Min Distance in Points for Same Symbol/Direction Trades/Orders: Sets the minimum distance required between copied trades/orders with the same symbol and direction.
Example: With 100, if an EURUSD Buy has already been copied at 1.09500 and the Transmitter places an EURUSD Buy Stop at 1.09570, the pending order will not be copied because the distance is only 70 points.
Lot Size Type: Selects how Receiver lot sizes are calculated. Applies to Receiver accounts only.
Available methods:
None: No Transmitter trades are copied.
Same Lot Size: Uses the original Transmitter lot size.
Fixed Lot: Uses Fixed Lot Size below.
Multiplier: Multiplies the Transmitter lot size by Multiplier below.
Multiplier by Balance: Calculates the multiplier as Receiver balance divided by Multiplier by Balance. Example: $10,000 balance ÷ 1000 = multiplier 10.
Multiplier by Equity: Calculates the multiplier as Receiver equity divided by Multiplier by Equity. Example: $10,000 equity ÷ 1000 = multiplier 10.
Proportional by Balance: Adjusts lot size according to the balance ratio between Receiver and Transmitter. Example: $2,000 Transmitter balance and $4,000 Receiver balance converts 0.10 lots to 0.20.
Proportional by Equity: Adjusts lot size according to the equity ratio between Receiver and Transmitter.
Proportional by Free Margin: Adjusts lot size according to the free-margin ratio between Receiver and Transmitter.
Proportional Multiplier by Balance: Uses proportional-by-balance sizing and applies the additional Proportional Multiplier by Balance below.
Proportional Multiplier by Equity: Uses proportional-by-equity sizing and applies the additional Proportional Multiplier by Equity below.
Risk per Trade in % of Balance: Calculates lot size so the configured percentage of Receiver balance would be lost if the SL is reached.
Risk per Trade in % of Equity: Calculates lot size so the configured percentage of Receiver equity would be lost if the SL is reached.
Risk per Trade in % of Free Margin: Calculates lot size so the configured percentage of Receiver free margin would be lost if the SL is reached.
Risk per Trade in Money: Calculates lot size so the configured amount in account currency would be lost if the SL is reached.
Lot Size per 1000 of Balance: Calculates lot size according to Receiver balance and the value below.
Lot Size per 1000 of Equity: Calculates lot size according to Receiver equity and the value below.
Specific Lot Size Sequence: Applies the predefined lot-size sequence below to Receiver market trades and pending orders.
Important for Risk per Trade modes: These methods require the copied trade to have a Stop Loss. If the Transmitter SL is modified, the Receiver SL is also modified, which can increase or decrease the initial risk. If the Transmitter SL is removed, the Receiver copied trade is closed.
Add/Subtract to Same Lot Size: Adjusts the Transmitter lot size when Same Lot Size is selected.
Example: With 0.02, a 0.06 Transmitter trade becomes 0.08 lots. With -0.02, it becomes 0.04 lots.
Fixed Lot Size: Defines the Receiver lot size when Fixed is selected.
Multiplier: Multiplies the Transmitter lot size. Example: 1.5 converts 0.10 lots to 0.15; 2 converts 0.22 to 0.44.
Multiplier by Balance: Defines the divisor used by Multiplier by Balance. Example: $10,000 Receiver balance with a value of 1000 produces a multiplier of 10.
Multiplier by Equity: Defines the divisor used by Multiplier by Equity. Example: $10,000 Receiver equity with a value of 1000 produces a multiplier of 10.
Proportional Multiplier by Balance: Additional multiplier applied when Proportional Multiplier by Balance is selected. Default 1 leaves the proportional calculation unchanged.
Example: If proportional sizing produces 0.20 lots, 0.5 changes it to 0.10 and 3 changes it to 0.60.
Proportional Multiplier by Equity: Additional multiplier applied when Proportional Multiplier by Equity is selected. Default 1 leaves the proportional calculation unchanged.
Example: If proportional sizing produces 0.20 lots, 0.5 changes it to 0.10 and 3 changes it to 0.60.
Risk per Trade in % of Balance: Percentage of Receiver balance to risk per copied trade when the corresponding Lot Size Type is selected.
Risk per Trade in % of Equity: Percentage of Receiver equity to risk per copied trade.
Risk per Trade in % of Free Margin: Percentage of Receiver free margin to risk per copied trade.
Risk per Trade in Money: Amount in Receiver account currency to risk per copied trade.
Lot Size per 1000 of Balance: Defines the lot size per 1,000 units of Receiver balance.
Example: 0.03 with a $10,000 balance produces 0.30 lots.
Lot Size per 1000 of Equity: Defines the lot size per 1,000 units of Receiver equity.
Example: 0.03 with $10,000 equity produces 0.30 lots.
Specific Lot Size Sequence: Defines a comma-separated lot-size sequence for all copied market trades and pending orders.
Example:
0.01,0.03,0.06,0.09
copies the first trade at 0.01, second at 0.03, third at 0.06 and fourth at 0.09. The final value is reused for subsequent trades.
Adding ,0 at the end—for example 0.01,0.03,0.06,0.09,0—stops copying after the fourth trade.
Once a sequence slot has been used, it is not reused even if that trade closes. The sequence resets when all Transmitter trades are closed. To use separate sequences across multiple Receivers, assign each one a different Magic Number.
Automatic Split of Copied Trades: Automatically splits a Receiver trade when its calculated lot size exceeds the maximum volume allowed for that instrument.
Example: If BTCUSD allows a maximum of 10 lots and the Receiver needs to open 25 lots, the EA opens two 10-lot trades and one 5-lot trade.
Split Copied Trades in Parts: Divides a copied trade into the specified number of parts.
Example: With 3, a 1-lot trade is copied as 0.33, 0.33 and 0.34 lots.
Split Copied Trades in Parts of: Splits a copied trade into parts no larger than the specified lot size.
Example: With 0.15, a 0.70-lot trade is copied as four 0.15-lot trades and one 0.10-lot trade.
A non-zero value here overrides Split Copied Trades in Parts.
Custom Symbol Fixed Lot Sizes: Assigns different fixed lot sizes to specific Receiver symbols and overrides the universal Fixed Lot Size for those symbols. Works only with Lot Size Type=Fixed Lot.
Example:
EURUSD0.15,GBPUSD0.3
Include Receiver suffixes where applicable:
EURUSD.r0.15,GBPUSD.r0.3
Custom Symbol Multipliers: Assigns different multipliers to specific Receiver symbols, overriding the universal multiplier. Works with Multiplier or Proportional Multiplier lot-size types.
Example:
EURUSD3,GBPUSD4
With Receiver suffixes:
EURUSD.r3,GBPUSD.r4
Copying from Symbol Trade/Order Number: Defines which numbered Transmitter trade/order the Receiver begins copying for each symbol.
Example: 4 skips the first three and begins with the fourth. The count resets when all Transmitter trades for that symbol are closed.
Symbol-specific example:
2,GBPUSD3,USDJPY4
Include Receiver suffixes where applicable.
2,GBPUSD.r3,USDJPY.r4
Copying Up to Symbol Trade/Order Number: Defines the highest numbered trade/order copied for each symbol.
Example: 4 copies only the first four trades/orders for each symbol. The count resets when all Transmitter trades for that symbol are closed.
Symbol-specific example:
2,GBPUSD3,USDJPY4
Include Receiver suffixes where applicable.
2,GBPUSD.r3,USDJPY.r4
Total Symbol Copied Trades: Limits the number of simultaneously open Receiver positions and pending orders per symbol.
Example: 4 allows four active trades/orders per symbol. When one closes, a slot becomes available for the next Transmitter trade in line.
Symbol-specific example:
2,GBPUSD3,USDJPY4
Include Receiver suffixes where applicable.
2,GBPUSD.r3,USDJPY.r4
Total Account Copied Trades: Limits the total number of open Receiver positions and pending orders.
Example: 5 allows five active copied trades/orders. When one closes, a slot becomes available and the next Transmitter trade in sequence can be copied.
Maximum Risk % per Symbol: Limits the combined percentage risk of copied trades/orders for each symbol. Copying for that symbol pauses when the limit is reached.
This requires copied trades/orders to have a Stop Loss. A non-zero value prevents trades/orders without an SL from being copied.
Example:
2,GBPUSD3,USDJPY4
sets a general 2% limit, 3% for GBPUSD and 4% for USDJPY. Include Receiver suffixes where applicable.
2,GBPUSD.r3,USDJPY.r4
Maximum Risk % per Currency: Limits the combined percentage risk of copied trades/orders involving each currency. Copying pauses when the limit is reached.
This requires copied trades/orders to have a Stop Loss. A non-zero value prevents trades/orders without an SL from being copied.
Example:
2,EUR3,GBP4
sets a general 2% limit, 3% for EUR and 4% for GBP.
Maximum Account Risk %: Limits the combined percentage risk of all Receiver copied trades/orders. Copying pauses when the limit is reached.
This requires copied trades/orders to have a Stop Loss. A non-zero value prevents trades/orders without an SL from being copied.
Total Symbol Copied Volume: Limits the total copied lot volume per symbol.
Example: 4 allows up to four lots per symbol. The count resets whenever a Transmitter or Receiver trade for that symbol closes.
Symbol-specific example:
2,GBPUSD3,USDJPY4
Include Receiver suffixes where applicable.
2,GBPUSD.r3,USDJPY.r4
Total Account Copied Volume: Limits the combined volume of copied Receiver trades and pending orders.
Example: With 2, once copied trades/orders total 2 lots, no additional trades are copied until copied volume is reduced by a trade closing.
Minimum Receiver Lot Size: Sets the minimum Receiver lot size. If the calculated size is below this value, it is increased to this minimum.
Example: If the calculation produces 0.05 and this setting is 0.10, the trade is copied at 0.10.
For brokers/instruments supporting sizes below 0.01, such as 0.001 or 0.0001, configure the appropriate minimum here.
Maximum Receiver Lot Size: Sets the maximum Receiver lot size. If the calculated size exceeds this value, it is reduced to the maximum.
Example: If the calculation produces 7.25 lots and the maximum is 5, the trade is copied at 5 lots.
Ignore Receiver Lot Size Below: Prevents a Receiver trade from being copied if its calculated lot size is below the specified value.
Example: With 0.5, a calculated 0.20-lot Receiver trade is ignored completely.
For instruments supporting sizes below 0.01, configure the appropriate value.
Ignore Receiver Lot Size Above: Prevents a Receiver trade from being copied if its calculated lot size exceeds the specified value.
Example: With 5, a calculated 8.20-lot trade is not copied.
Ignore Transmitter Lot Size Below: Prevents copying when the original Transmitter lot size is below the specified value.
Example: With 0.5, a 0.20-lot Transmitter trade is ignored.
Ignore Transmitter Lot Size Above: Prevents copying when the original Transmitter lot size exceeds the specified value.
Example: With 5, an 8.20-lot Transmitter trade is ignored.
Minimum Volume Step: Defines the minimum supported lot-size step. The default 0.01 suits most forex brokers. Use 0.001, 0.0001, or another appropriate value for brokers/instruments that support smaller volume steps, including certain volatility indexes.
Synchronized Trade Closure: Controls how closing/deleting the original Transmitter trade/order affects its Receiver copy.
True: Closes/deletes corresponding Receiver market trades and pending orders when the Transmitter originals are closed/deleted.
False: Receiver trades/orders remain active after their Transmitter originals are closed/deleted.
True for Market Trades Only: Closes the Receiver position only when the corresponding Transmitter position is also a market trade at that time.
True for Pending Orders Only: Deletes the Receiver pending order only when the corresponding Transmitter position is also pending at that time.
True for Same Trade/Order Type: Synchronizes closure only when both sides are the same type. Market-to-market and pending-to-pending are synchronized; mismatched types are left unchanged.
Closure Delay in Seconds: Delays Receiver trade closure by the specified number of seconds. Enter one value, such as 5, or a range such as 5,20 for a random delay.
Configure Transmitter Server Offset Hours if the brokers use different server times.
Closure Better Price: Enables/disables waiting for the configured closure price condition.
Important: This can cause a closure to be missed if the required price is never reached, potentially leaving the Receiver trade open and unmanaged.
Closure Better Price Difference in Points: Defines the price condition required before closing.
0 closes a Buy at the same or higher price and a Sell at the same or lower price.
50 closes a Buy 50 points higher or a Sell 50 points lower.
-50 closes a Buy 50 points lower or a Sell 50 points higher.
Symbol-specific values can be entered, for example:
10,GBPUSD-20,USDJPY30
Include Receiver suffixes where applicable.
Reopen Closed Copied Trades: Controls whether Receiver trades/orders that were closed are reopened while the corresponding Transmitter trades/orders remain open.
False: Does not reopen.
Instantly: Reopens immediately.
At Open Price or Better: Reopens when the current price reaches or improves upon the original Transmitter open price, subject to Better Price settings.
At a Specific Time: Reopens at the time configured below if the Transmitter position is still open.
Reopen Closed Copied Trades Time: Sets the HH:MM time used by At a Specific Time above.
Apply Partial Closure: Enables/disables copying of partial closures from the Transmitter to the Receiver.
Close Transmitter if Receiver is Closed: Closes the original Transmitter trade/order when its corresponding Receiver trade/order is closed.
Important: Configure this setting on the Transmitter side.
Virtual/Hidden TP/SL Levels: Uses virtual/hidden TP, SL, Break Even and Trailing Stop levels for Receiver copied trades. These levels are not visible to the broker or market.
Show Virtual Levels on Chart: Displays virtual TP and SL levels on the chart where the EA is attached. TP appears as a lime line and SL as a salmon line, with profit/loss information on mouse hover.
Virtual levels can only be drawn on the chart where the EA itself is attached.

TP Based on Risk/Reward Ratio 1/: Calculates Receiver TP from the trade's SL according to the specified risk/reward ratio.
Requires Copy Take Profit=false, Take Profit in Points=0 and Take Profit in Money=0.
Example: With 2 and a 100-point SL, TP is 200 points. With 0.5, a 100-point SL produces a 50-point TP.
Partial Closure Take Profit % 1: First profit level, expressed as a percentage of the TP distance, at which a partial closure occurs.
Example: With a 100-point TP and value 30, the first partial closure occurs at +30 points.

Basket Trailing Stop in Average Points: Defines the trailing Stop Loss level in average points. If the average result falls to this level during trailing, all copied trades/orders are closed.
Basket Trailing Step in Average Points: Defines the average-points step by which the basket trailing Stop Loss moves upward as average profit increases.
Use Emergency Account Protection: Enables/disables closing all Receiver copied trades and stopping copying when either Receiver Account Stop Loss Equity or Receiver Account Take Profit Equity is reached.
After Emergency Account Protection is triggered, to resume copying you must close the chart where the EA is attached, open a new chart, reattach the EA and configure the Receiver again.
Receiver Account Stop Loss Equity: Equity level below which Emergency Account Protection is triggered.
Receiver Account Take Profit Equity: Equity level above which all open trades are closed and copying is disabled. This must be higher than the current equity.
Max Drawdown % from Balance High: Defines the maximum accepted drawdown percentage from the highest account balance reached since the EA was attached. When reached, the EA closes all Receiver copied trades and disables copying.
This protection remains active even when Use Emergency Account Protection=false.
Maximum Daily Drawdown from: Selects whether Maximum Daily Drawdown is calculated from Balance or Equity.
Maximum Daily Drawdown in %: Defines the maximum daily drawdown percentage. When reached, all Receiver copied trades are closed and copying is suspended until the next day.
The percentage is calculated from the selected Balance or Equity value at 23:59:59 of the previous day.
If Copy Current Trades=true, Transmitter trades that remain open and were not previously copied can be copied when copying resumes.
This protection remains active even when Use Emergency Account Protection=false.
To override the protection, delete the Receiver terminal's Global Variables through:
MT4/MT5 → Tools → Global Variables → Ctrl+A → Delete
Then restart both Transmitter and Receiver terminals and reapply the EA setup.
Important: Do not delete these Global Variables while copied trades are open, because those trades will be left unmanaged.
Maximum Daily Drawdown in Money: Defines the maximum daily drawdown in account currency. When reached, all Receiver copied trades are closed and copying is suspended until the next day.
It uses the selected Balance or Equity value at 23:59:59 of the previous day and otherwise follows the same resume, Global Variables and open-trade precautions described above.
Maximum Daily Profit from: Selects whether Maximum Daily Profit is calculated from Balance or Equity.
Maximum Daily Profit in %: Defines the desired maximum daily profit percentage. When reached, all Receiver copied trades are closed and copying is suspended until the next day.
The percentage is calculated from the selected Balance or Equity value at 23:59:59 of the previous day.
If Copy Current Trades=true, still-open Transmitter trades that were not previously copied can be copied when copying resumes.
Maximum Daily Profit in Money: Defines the desired maximum daily profit in account currency. When reached, all Receiver copied trades are closed and copying is suspended until the next day.
It uses the selected Balance or Equity value at 23:59:59 of the previous day and otherwise follows the same resume, Global Variables and open-trade precautions described above.
No Copying if Transmitter Drawdown %>: Temporarily stops copying new trades when current Transmitter drawdown exceeds the specified percentage. Copying resumes when Transmitter drawdown falls below the threshold.
Example: With 20, new copying stops above 20% Transmitter drawdown and resumes below 20%.
This setting remains active even when Use Emergency Account Protection=false.
No Copying if Receiver Drawdown %>: Temporarily stops copying new trades when current Receiver drawdown exceeds the specified percentage. Copying resumes when Receiver drawdown falls below the threshold.
Example: With 20, new copying stops above 20% Receiver drawdown and resumes below 20%.
This setting remains active even when Use Emergency Account Protection=false.
Copy Only if Transmitter Drawdown %>: Allows copying only when Transmitter drawdown exceeds the specified percentage.
Example: With 5, the Receiver starts copying once Transmitter drawdown exceeds 5%. If drawdown later falls below 5%, new trades stop being copied until it exceeds 5% again.
Once the threshold is initially reached, all Transmitter trades are copied.
This setting remains active even when Use Emergency Account Protection=false.
Copy Only if Transmitter Drawdown % per Symbol>: Allows copying for each symbol only when the combined drawdown of all Transmitter trades for that symbol exceeds the specified percentage.
Example: With 2, trades for a symbol begin copying when that symbol's combined Transmitter drawdown exceeds 2%. If it falls below 2%, new trades for that symbol stop being copied until the threshold is exceeded again.
Once the threshold is reached, all Transmitter trades for that symbol are copied.
This setting remains active even when Use Emergency Account Protection=false.
